There are different ways you can have a riser installed. It can be slightly above ground, completely level, or below ground. A riser is simply all about convenience. Having the riser above the ground means it’s exceptionally easy to access it, and there’s no digging at all. If it’s below the ground you will still be able to access it easily, and the grass will still be able to grow over the site. The plus side of having a riser installed is you will no longer have to pay for a professional to walk the property to find the tanks lid location.
There are many different materials risers can be made out of. The materials are PVC, polyethylene, and fiberglass. We recommend PVC since they are durable, strong, and lightweight. Concrete risers may be cheaper; however, they are very heavy and can crumble over time.
